As the Autobots and Decepticons wage their never-ending battle, the stakes are raised when ancient TRANSFORMERS arrive from Cybertron to join the fight. The turncoat DECEPTICON, MEGATRON, has returned with a vile plan to create an army of DECEPTICONS by infecting the AUTOBOTS with a virus. Only OPTIMUS PRIME and the rest of the AUTOBOT forces can stop him. But their fight will take them to the ancient home world of the TRANSFORMERS, all the way to the planet CYBERTRON.
