Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 is a 2008 real-time strategy video game developed by EA Los Angeles and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on October 28, 2008 in the United States for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 platforms and on November 11, 2008 in Europe. The game is a sequel to the 2006 game Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, and features the return of the Red Alert series’ alternate history with a CONTINUITY OF COMMAND CAMPAIGN where players can command their armies from anywhere in the world and receive real-time feedback on their progress.
A team of development veterans from the original Red Alert and Command & Conquer games has returned to create the next thrilling chapter in the legendary RTS series. In Red Alert 3, the Soviet Union has fallen, leaving a power vacuum in its wake. The Empire of the Rising Sun has seized the opportunity to invade Europe and take control of the continent. The Allied forces, led by USA and featuring the resourceful Commissioner Buckingham, must rally to defend Europe and drive the Empire back to its homeland.
