Skate 2 was released in early 2009 and is a skateboarding video game set in the fictional city of New San Vanelona, which is based on San Francisco. The game features a large open world environment and a more realistic approach to skateboarding than previous games in the series. You can skate around the city and do tricks to earn points, and there are also a number of side missions and challenges to keep you busy. The graphics and gameplay are both excellent, and Skate 2 is definitely one of the best skateboarding games around.
