Payday 2 is a cooperative first-person shooter video game and the sequel to Payday: The Heist. It was developed by Overkill Software and published by 505 Games. The game was released on 13 August 2013, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. An improved version of the game, subtitled Crimewave Edition, was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 12 June 2015.
In Payday 2, players can customize their masks and take on new roles to build their criminal empire. There are over 100 masks to choose from, each with their own unique abilities and perks.ivities, while having the freedom to pursue their own objectives. The game features new heists, characters, and weapons, as well as larger maps to accommodate a heavier emphasis on stealth.
